Generally buyers agree the video is excellent while the audio is lacking unless you use a audio home theater system. 08/30/2009 Great Picture when watching in HD Setup was easy. We watched a Blu-Ray disc action movie. Couldn't believe the sharp, clear picture. Motion flow in the action scenes was flawless. Satelite TV picture was excellent. Upgraded to HD satelite, picture is outstanding. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before deciding on this TV. I made a good choice. Would you recommend this product to a friend?: Yes 07/29/2009 The color stands out and my PS3 looks great. The tv looks great and the connections for all my devices were super easy. The picture looks great, but the speakers do lack a little punch, but that is what you have a theatre system for. Would you recommend this product to a friend?: Yes 07/28/2009 Great Picture, Bad Sound. Picture is bright and clear, lots of customization. Sound is bad. I would give this TV a higher rating if it weren't for the sound. Quite disappointing given how beautiful the picture looks. If you always run your tv through a theater system, no problems. But if you like to watch the TV with just the tv speakers you will notice tons of audio distortion that isn't evident on many of the other Sony hdtv models. Also, I'm not a big fan of having most of the inputs on the side of the tv. This tv has 3 HDMI ports on the side, with only 1 in back. While it's a little easier to hook up temporary things, many other hdmi devices you leave plugged in all the time. You see the wires sticking out the side of your tv if you don't tie them back. The 120Hz refresh rate of this tv doesn't make much difference over the 60Hz version, either. Would you recommend this product to a friend?: No The switch to digital broadcast TV. RF Modulators and DVD Connections. More options for video and audio connections.
